本以为是欧洲两大邪宗导演让洛林VS弗朗哥，看完查资料才知道此片版本众多，最早是1973年弗朗哥导的78分钟版，1978年又被某君增添X级镜头变成了90分钟的情色片，1981年为迎合弗尔兹《Zombi》的大热，请来了让洛林补拍了僵尸部分，以Zombi 4名义发行，现在常见的Redemption蓝光修复的90分钟版本是最贴近弗朗哥原版的剪辑版

有蓝光，1080p，中字。片长为90分钟，所以豆瓣条目片长有误。电影通过一个家庭羁绊的壳来表达对于生命、生死的些许思考。死亡不能超越生命，生命却终结于死亡。古堡是一个巨大的暗喻，它是生命起源或生存空间，亲情缺失与羁绊的解除造成了“生”的困扰。性交、腐尸、裸体等应有尽有，这些元素尚不违和。钢琴配乐浓郁、魔性，且密集，气氛烘托属上乘。配色偏冷色系，有种古朴、冷艳、冰凉的质感。表演稍稍失控，过于机械、歇斯底里，算是不足。
