归根结底是因为钱所引发的连环伤害。J·T·沃尔什那个时候经常出演这种坏人角色啊，他说话声音太好听了。
故事本身还挺有意思的，但拍的太四平八稳了，这个剧本本来可以惊悚或者黑色幽默，但导演只是平淡地讲了这个还不错的故事。节奏还挺舒服，只是不够精彩，很多反转都提前就能猜的到，有些可惜。

现代西部片。尼古拉斯凯奇很酷。情节有点狗血。坏人吧又有点情怀的人。当然比科恩兄弟稍微正常点点。哈哈。导演是超牛逼的那种。后期拍了很多9分电影电视。
一部西部片、惊悚片和喜剧片的奇怪组合。电影营造着一种疑神疑鬼和表里不一的气氛，人物的动机简单直接：拿钱，避过警察，干掉对手。迈克尔的腿伤像《后窗》伤腿的男主一样，标志着他的无能为力，并预兆即将到来的厄运，我们看到的第一眼就是他从汽车里伸出的那条包裹的伤腿。
