纯儿童片，美工虽复古，但视听观感很现代，为了减少小演员对戏难度，某些动物做成动画。配角时不时打破第四堵墙，结尾小姑娘们直接对着镜头唱hiphop了。花大半篇幅建构了一个任性妄为的无忧童年，再把这美好统统撕碎，但苦难似乎并未令主角心灵成长。同时无法原谅关键情节靠旁白一笔带过。
