暂无简介Plot Summary:Little Dorothy is doing her homework, but gets bored with it and starts playing with a box of matches. She sets sheets of paper alight and catches them in a dish. The smoke awakens her dozing parrot, who dumps his water dish over Dorothy and her fire, then takes the box of matches away and stows it on top of a tall wardrobe out of the child's reach. Later, Dorothy wanders up to the attic in search of amusement and finds a trunk of old hats, but it's too dark to play with them. Going back downstairs, she finds that the parrot is asleep, so she creeps in, piles up tables and stools and climbs up to take the matches. Returning to the attic, she lights a glass-paned candle lamp and amuses herself with trying on hats in front of the mirror. Then she notices the flame in the lamp beckoning to her; it turns into a lovely fairy who dances for her, sparkling and swirling. Dorothy is enchanted! She opens the lamp and lets the friendly little flame out, where it assumes many forms and delights ...
